Frequently asked questions

Why should I hire Extraordinary Moments Travel?

This is not just another booking engine, I am a luxury travel advisor helping people plan custom vacations beyond the ordinary. Building a relationship with customers and ensuring their satisfaction is a priority. Among many other reasons to use a Travel Advisor, I’ve found that the 3 best are time, expertise, and customer service.

  • Time: With the busy lives that we lead, there never seems to be enough hours in the day. I provide a solution to busy professionals that do not have the time, knowledge or desire to spend hours scouring the web and planning a vacation, only to end up more stressed and the results being a mediocre trip. By hiring us, hours are saved, headaches are avoided, and trips are meticulously planned using our expert knowledge and vetted providers.

  • Customer Service: Our boutique nature allows us to provide each client with unparalleled focus, and view customer service as the utmost importance. I take the time to get to know my clients, learning their needs and desires, ensuring that I design trips from my clients’ perspective.

  • Expertise: Over the years I have cultivated relationships with travel providers that allows me to offer clients amenities or upgrades you might not have access to on your own. I know who and where to turn for each specific scenario, allowing your personal needs and requests to be met to your complete satisfaction.

My job doesn't stop when the trip is booked. I am here to answer questions before, during and after the vacation.

Are there any costs or fees to use Extraordinary Moments Travel?

Yes, I charge a planning fee for custom itineraries and design services which require hours of research, planning and preparation. Please visit the services page for more information.

Do I really need Travel Insurance?

Life happens, rights? What I can control is meticulosity planning your trip. What I can’t control is mother nature and weather delays, lost luggage and unexpected cancellations due to medical reasons. I strongly believe that it is best to prepare for the unexpected by purchasing travel insurance. Protect yourself and your investment.

Where should I go? What are the go to destinations?

There are plenty of popular and must see destinations that I highly recommend. Croatia or New Zealand anyone? Yes please! There are also many lesser known places as beautiful and exciting that just might be the answer. There is no one-size-fits-all vacation or destinations and choosing where to travel depends on a variety of factors including budget, the type of vacation you want, who you are traveling with, when you want to travel and much more. I am always happy to assist with recommending a destination for your next vacation.

Do I need a passport, visa or both to visit another country?

Most likely yes, you will need a passport if you are traveling outside of the United States. If traveling to Canada or Mexico by land, a passport card will suffice. In most cases, countries require that your passport be valid for 6 months from your last date of travel. The need for a visa will depend on the country you are traveling to as well as your nationality and legal residence. I will be happy to guide you through the process, but ultimately it is the client’s responsibility to obtain necessary travel documents.
